Mxd in your post you put chins/pullups - how does chinups and pullups work together ?
Not overly different to what I do for back and I find it works. Polish it off with a couple of sets of curls and my bis hate me for the rest of the day.

Re: Deadlifts

Ok, well im trying to avoid things like bicep curls as im really trying to have a workout that concentrates on compounds.
I think the pullups will be enough for my bis as i will get some work on them from rowing and deadlifting.

So its looking like
Deads - 5 x 5
Row - 5 x 5
Chins - 3 x failure
Pullups - 3 x failure

Shall i do bent over row or or just a normal row ?

Its not just a BACK - Its PUSH , so really its back and biceps.

Re: Deadlifts

Back is not a push workout, it's a pull workout. Chest is a push workout.

Your routine looks fine. Don't worry about arm curls - leave them alone if you want to. I didn't touch any for about 4 months & they grew just from doing deads and barbell rows.

What do you mean by normal rows? There's loads of different types of rows. Barbell rows are superb. Once you get a bit more advanced, try some Yates' rows - now they do hurt.

Re: Deadlifts

Dumbbell rows are an alternative, but I'd stick with barbell rows if I was you.

By the end of a decent back routine mate, your biceps should have taken a pounding.

Re: Deadlifts

Im getting confused with pullups and chinups.
I do chinups ( over hand grip ) for my lats
i do pullups ( underhand grip ) for my biceps.

By doing pullups last and going to failure will surelly be enough as it will take them to higher limits.

Pull ups will hit the bis more than chins, Mike Metzner used to do pull ups/downs as his bicep movement he felt they were that good at hitting the bis.
