Thumbs up AM i Doing this right? confused??

I've just turned 19.
I weigh about 11 and a half stone and im 6' 1" tall.
I bench press and do squats>>> 44kg (3x10 reps) for 4 weeks now.
(legs limited by equipment) but about>> 25kg same reps as above

Im starting to feel that this weight is not enough and want to increase it, but im not sure by how much? and if my reps etc are right, i would appreciate any feedback as im not really sure i know what im doing lol.

THX in advance

Re: AM i Doing this right? confused??

If you feel the weight is getting easy to lift then yes up the weight to somthing you can lift ok. As for the reps id stick to 8 - 10 for now.

What are your goals?

Re: AM i Doing this right? confused??

the way i do it - if you can do 3 sets of 10 reps the weight is too light.. once you hit that, increase the weight slightly so you are doing 10 reps for the first 2 sets but can only push about 7-9 reps for the last set. work at that till you hit the 3 sets at 10 reps then increase the weight again.
