Re: im loosing weight??? wtf

Be patient, it'll come, see what next weeks results are and let us know, can't really take the 1st week into account that much.

What point in the day did you get weighed?

Re: im loosing weight??? wtf

i wouldn't worry to much , your body is just getting use to the new training etc you will soon see more mass coming. since i started training with new diet , better routine and cardio my weight has stayed the same but i am getting more toner by the day (even bigger) plus lifting more and more each week. it just a matter of your body adjusting

Re: im loosing weight??? wtf

It'll be water mate. I bet you either drank more or less than you did last week around the same time - don't expect to put on 5lbs naturally in a month or so, it won't be quality gains.

Re: im loosing weight??? wtf

Weight gain is not always linear.

Just keep training hard and eat plenty of quality food.

YOU WILL gain weight as long as your eating a calorific surplus.

Give it time mate

Re: im loosing weight??? wtf

Work your calories out and then keep adding 300 calories a day until you see the scales go up. But do this gradually, leaving each increment approxiamtely a week to see any changes.

If you have no clue where to start try this......

bodyweight * 15 = approx daily maintenance.

So... if you weigh 200 lbs, multipy this by 15 , which gives you 3000 calories a day.

Its just a rough guide and depends on many factors, but gives you a starting point, then add 300/500 calories a day and see how you go.

Hope that makes sense

Re: im loosing weight??? wtf

If you have just started training, its common to loose weight pretty quick to start off. As mentioned, can be down to water etc. When I was trying to loose weight, I was checking each week and noticed it would be up and down but over like 8 weeks it would be down overall. Thats what counts, not day to day or even one week to the next, but over a long period of time.

Dont go mad and start eating like 5000 cals a day But do eat what you are now and train hard. Give it a couple of weeks and see what effect (if any) it has had on your weight. Then add a few more hundred cals and leave it alone again for a few weeks and so on.

You want slow gains in weight, try and do too much and you will gain faster, but it wont be lean muscle ;)

Re: im loosing weight??? wtf

thanks for the responces, i done some rough calculations on last weeks food and all except 1 day i was under 2000kcals i have put it up on my training lod for people to see.

although weight is decreasing i feel my overall condition is worse ie looking flabbier althoug i will only really tell next sun when the 2nd round of pics go up.

i have had a look into my diet and with no shakes inc till they arrive i have upped the food a little bit mainly just on quantities ie

75g oats is now 100g and a boiled egg

but have another look on my log to see exactly

cheers
