Cardio Work

Ive just been on holiday and have a bit of unwanted fat around the stomach area. Im looking to do some cardio to burn this off.

Before my holiday i had more or less a six pack.
My diet will be the same as before the holiday so im just looking for extra cardio to try and burn it off.

I do cardio at rugby training on wednesday, saturday and a match is on sunday.

Should i do cardio before a gym session on monday, tues and thurs or after it.

Maybe something like treadmill, bike, rowing machine etc. whats the best ?

30-40mins steady state on bike/treadmill at 65% of your maximum heart rate, mix it up with some HIIT so you are doing cardio 3-4 times a week.

Be mindful that you are working hard at rugby so be careful not to overdo it.

Should this be before or after a workout ?

What about swimming ? That would only be possible after the workout if thats any good.

ideally done in the morning on an empty stomach or immediatley after a workout although I wouldn't do any more than 25 mins as you can go very catabolic due to very low muscle glycogen.

Monday - Push for 30minutes and then say 20 minutes treadmill speed 12.
Tuesday - Pull for 30 minutes and then say 20 minutes on bike
Thursday - legs for 30 minutes and 20 minutes swimming

How does that look ?
