![]() | advice needed :) hi guys, im 27, 5ft11, 180lbs, 21% bodyfat. Im of a skinny build, and over the past few months have slowly gained weight around my midsection. Theres hardly no fat anywhere else on my body. My goal is to lower my bodyfat, and generally tone up my whole body, and gain more muscle. Im unsure as to how to go about this? Obviously i need to lower my calorie intake to decrease my bodyfat....but at the same time...to gain muscle...i need to increase calorie intake??? I train in martial arts 3 times a week which is good cardio. Ive just joined a gym and am starting on monday. I only have time to lift weights twice a week, so do you think it would be best to do an all-over body workout both sessions? If so, could anyone suggest a workout I could follow?? Cheers. |

No bro you dont want to do that..Stick to 2 bodyparts per workout..Being as you only have 2 days to lift try to work the larger body parts..chest,back,shoulders,legs first...you could throw bi,s in on back day, tris with chest,etc..mix it up ....your martial arts can take care of your cardio for the time being...imo i wouldnt worry so much about how heavy you lift right now,but concentrate on good form and higher reps to help tone you up that mid section and decrease your b.f. Good luck bro Last edited by ZAMBON; 14-02-2008 at 01:27 AM. |
