![]() | Re: benching bar position Personally,just below the nipple but everyone is different m8...Try just below and above the nipple to see what works best for you,as each to their own ...Have seem some people doing it nearer the top half of the chest but whatever suits you m8 |

![]() | Re: benching bar position I like going to the neck with a wide grip on flat benches. This gives me a good stretch. But make sure you dont use too much weight as you would put too much stress on the shoulders try a few weeks with each grip type & position, you will know which one works best for you then ![]() |

![]() | Re: benching bar position lol, true. Then again I used to put too much on the bench and muscle it up instead of squeezing and working on the pecs themselves. Took me 12 months to stop doing this....my chest (and shoulders) have thanked me ever since! |

| aka Jimmy | Re: benching bar position Bringing it down just above the nipple area will produce a better stretch, I changed to these from doing them to tyhe nipple and I saw a marked improvement. Bringing it down to the neck IMO is NOT the natural range of motion, just sit now and bring your arms out and pull them back, its quite dangerous tbh. T^he natty range bring it in just above the mid chest area. |
