I'll place a small bet on that fact your bench press has given your triceps more growth than doing "heavy kickbacks"...

If you look at the kinesiology of the body then you'll see kickbacks are an injury waiting to happen when done heavy.

I know of two BBers who do them, but at a moderate weight with very strict form and not the exact form you see Mens Health displaying, but purely for striations on one of the tricep heads, and never (from memory) for mass...

ive done heavy kickbacks for years, and only just recently started doing narrow bench, so this is not the case. like i said with a strict form and lighter weight there are a shaping exercise more so, but i have always done heavier lifts with them and have found them very good for overrall size. imo

Re: Which triceps exercise would you leave out?

the best exercises ive mostly stuck to n made good gains are;
close grip push downs - 4sets x 8-10 reps
close-grip bench - 4sets x 6-10 reps
weighted dips or machine dips - 4sets x6-10 reps

thats only a guide line for wot i usually do in a session ,

but its different people opinions at the end of the day ini
