New member, Help.

Hi im a new member to the site, and currently after a bit of advice. I cant post any of my stats at the moment since i havnt weighed my self in a while.

Basical i started training last year in April, i trained for about 3months before i injured my arm. And i havnt trained since.

Now my arm is alot better and fully functional again, and no longer causes me any pain.

So this is where i need help:

I havnt come into quite a bit of space in my room, and with me only able to get to the gym about 3 times a week i want to get a bit of gym equipment for my room. I have a budget of £150 and was wondering what would be the most benificial items for me to buy.

Im also after a work out routien, but ill leave that untill i can post pictures of my self, and get advice on where i need to work. Apprently im well built? :-S And stand at 5'10" and im 20. Stats and pictures to follow.

So basicaly i just need some help on gym equipment at £150 budget. I was looking at this - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...Bequipment.htm

My Goal is this:

Thank you for any input, and i will post up my - Stats, Current work out, and pictures ASAP.

Re: New member, Help.

Well firstly can i suggest you don't bother spending on any gym equipment for your home. Going to the gym 3times a week, if doing a decent routine is fine, some would argue too much!

As far as a routine is concerned if i were you i would stick to the compound movements which will work a large range of muscles and help you put size on. If you need to strip fat then early morning cardio pre-breakfast is best... done at like60% of max heart rate... basically like a fast walk up hill for 40mins or so.

The main thing is your diet... if you look in the diet section there are a whole range of diet examples that u can look at.. You need to be eating every 2/3 hours... having some protein / carbs / fats in each meal.. getting about 6meals down you daily.

Lots of sleep and water too, very important... erm hope that has helped

Re: New member, Help.

I find woking out at home aint easy an boring, only cause you can get distracted easy with things at home an only have limited thing to do cause of space. i used to have weights at home ( fort id do abit of extra training) an i never used them as i did enough at the gym. so IMO its a waste of money.
3 times a week is fine, just get a routine sorted out for them 3 days.
