How should i feel after a workout??

Hello, when i first started training the next day i used to feel really stiff and pretty much ****ed,
But now i dont really feel anything the next day, straight after training i feel good and all my muscles feel hard and bigger but not for long.
Is this normal?? Or should i ache or something the next day?? How should i feel?
Thanks

Re: How should i feel after a workout??

i know what you mean attitude

when i first started training i had really bad doms and ached like **** for the next day or 2 usually due to poor form and not actually knowing what i was doing.

then i started a decent routine, still got them occasioanlly but not as bad, now i feel more ****ed directly after a workout, like now im sitting here slouched as my body just wants to sleep haha. but tomorrow ill be fine,

how ever i do get doms for a few days after doing bench. mainly on my upper chest by my shoulders.

Re: How should i feel after a workout??

your routine looks simular to what i was doings, lots of isolation exercises, never did legs the same day though.

try cutting the exercises down and replacing them with compounds (bench, dips, chins)
id personaly do less exercises with more weight.

Re: How should i feel after a workout??

you get your stiffness from lactic acid, just stretch off a bit after you workout, it'll cycle the acid around your body and dispose it, you probably knew that but hey

if u train a muscle group hard enough there will be no stretching it off after the work out lol
