As a rough guide for the general average Joe to pretty damn fat people I say 2lb/week .... but if I'm honest you cant really just generalise like that - so many factors. |

If you're not hugely overweight then 2lbs per week is about the most you should be losing because if you're going over that then you're risking losing muscle which is something you obviously don't want to do. Eat a high protein diet, eat complex carbs and good fats, do morning cardio, do a weight training session a couple of times a week and keep a keen eye on your calories and the weight will come off. |

If you picture someone weight 200lbs but with 30% BF then they can lose more BF per week than someone weighing 200lbs and 12% BF. You should think of it as weight loss per week or even fat weight loss per week but not BF% per week. |

Its about a total life style change, not a month or so of heavy dieting and cardio and then resorting back to what made you fat in the first place. |
