starting cardio

hi,
currently doin a 3 day split and am going to be adding 3 days of cardio.

should i do the cardio on my rest day or after the work out ?

Re: starting cardio

depends on your body type mate and what you are trying to achieve.if you are trying to just keep leaner as i asume you are then 3 days cardio is quite adequate.ffor the best results first thing in the morning as you wake is best on an empty stomach.doing it on training days is fine but dont over do the intensity of the cardio (about 65-70% of your max hr)

cant do in the mornin because of work, just want to burn a bit of fat and keep it off, eating nice and clean from this day forth,

all the other muscles are showin except for the abs:boohoo:

get up a little earlier then!!!! lol, whats wrong with 5am thats what most of us do when dieting for a show

5am !!!! thats hard work lol.

fair enough if i was competing but im a long way off from that, il just stick to the cardio after workout,

Hi
I think alot of people have this for there new years resolution.
I have just started doing cardio first thing before wieghts but I feel to burnt out to lift any heavy wieght. so I am going to try cardio first thing and weights in the afternoon.
