| Getting bigger | Re: straight talking advise anywhere??? You need to be eating right and of course has to relate to your overall goals. You can get very scientific and calculate everything you eat, I would say that at the moment that you dont need to go scientific. Aim for five/seven meals a day, get yourself a pre-workout and post workout shake/meal in order. Have a look at the diet forum for ideas if needed. You are going back to boxing/kick boxing so you should have a training routine worked out. Get back into your routine give it three months and see how you feel in yourself in regard to going up a weight or dieting down. If you decide to go up, then you need to add in some cals to the diet, add in some weights and up the protein. If you decide to slim down, first up the amount of cardio, then if needed decrease the amount of cals to bring you down. When are you going back to boxing/kickboxing?

| Getting bigger | Re: straight talking advise anywhere??? With diets its hard to find one that can not be improved, yours looks ok. Try to add in some whey to your post work out shake? I also train in the morning and I am oftern told that I should try to eat more than breakfast before I train. I work evenings so its up bowl of oats mixed with whey and one hour later I am in the gym. Always add in some salad, where you can, maybe with your tuna and bread. If you fancy a snack nuts with fruit. Someone with more experience regarding martial arts and boxing needs to comment on your work regime. For me its push, pull, legs. I guess for you its more endurance style, more reps in a set around 12. Mind you you need some strength and thats more along the lines of 5 reps. I would say after crimbo hit your kick/boxing sessions start to get your balance back, keep the diet clean, aim on getting your fitness high with cardio and you should trim up well. Then decide to add weight or cut weight.
