Proposed Diet

Hi,

I am looking at writing a diet but need as much help from you guys as possible.

From reading on here, I should have around 6 meals a day. so here goes:

Meal 1 | 07:00 - Bowl of porridge and a banana

Meal 2 | 10:00 - 3 slices of toast with butter

Meal 3 | 12:00 - Jacket potato with tuna, and salad

Meal 4 | 3:00 - Some fruit (banana, apple or orange)

Meal 5 | 6:00 (Pre Workout) - Scrambled egg on toast

Meal 6 | 8:00 - WHEY with milk

There is probably a lot to be change but with your help I should hopefully get a steady diet.

Meal 2 | 10:00 - 3 slices of toast with butter - Id change this, how about cottage cheese?

Meal 3 | 12:00 - Jacket potato with tuna, and salad - Looks good

Meal 4 | 3:00 - Some fruit (banana, apple or orange) - Protein? how about some nuts for those good fats as well?

Meal 5 | 6:00 (Pre Workout) - Scrambled egg on toast - I think you need more than this

Meal 6 | 8:00 - WHEY with milk

I'm just learning pretty much myself, so firstly good luck! But, Ive highlighted some stuff and Im sure someone can build on that.

Overall, it looks very light. What are your aims?

Re: Proposed Diet

Just up the protein in the morning. Don't seem to be much good fat in your diet - get some good oils involved.

Re: Proposed Diet

Just eat everything you can lay your hands on, you need to get big and strong and you aren't going to do that with the diet you've outlined.

Try eating something like this:

Breakfast - porridge and sugar, banana protein drink with Udos oil

Snack - couple of hard boiled eggs, pint of full fat milk, some cheese OR two cans of sardines in oil on toast

Dinner - Two cans of tuna in oil, packet of uncles bens rice

Snack - Chemical nutrition MRP, flapjacks and a mars bar (once or twice a week)

Train - PWO drink whey and maltrodextrin

Evening meal - 200grammes of chicken/fish/meat, plenty of veg, some rice pasta or potato

Snack - half a large tub of cottage cheese/ mixed with some full fat yoghurt

Twice a week, have a day off all this and just pig out, but make sure you get the protein in.

Trust me in what I'm saying, I am the same height as you and weigh 100lbs more than you from eating the way I have outlined.
