![]() | Hi... Hi, saw the link for the site on a different forum and thought I'd join up. I used to be very healthy this time last year, gym 3 times a week and good exercise outside etc, I won;t go into it, but then for one reason and another my motivation died. Over the last few months I've noticed myself getting a lot unfitter, and also putting on a few stone in weight, mainly due to sitting in an office all day as part of my job, so now is the time where I get back into my training etc and get fit again. I'll be reading up and searching for most of the stuff I think I'll need, but if anyone can help me out with a PEP and decent diet info that would be really appreciated. Cheers, Joe |

![]() | Re: Hi... Thanks MXMAD, I'll have a look through them in a sec when I get chance. (I take it you are into MX, do you race or just a hobby?) Erm, diet was nothing special, kept to my 5 a day of fruit veg, cut out pretty much all chocolate etc, had a few fish meals through the week, pasta, tried to keep everything as balanced as I could. My goals at the minute are to loose a few stone of weight and then start bulking up a bit, buying a house and lack of money means most of my nights are spent sat at home at the minute, so for me training gives me something to do, gets me fitter again, and will hopefully make me more content. I'm 18, nealry 19, roughly 6' 2", weigh about 14 stone, don;t look 'fat' but I do have a bit of a belly and my fitness is greatly reduced to what it used to be. I know the very basics from my GCSE PE course I did, but obviously a lot of that goes out of the window when real training comes into mind, my long term goals aren't to be a body builder in all honesty, neither a body to impress the girls majorly, I just want to be healthy and fit. |
