Squat Estimate..

Hi all, just a quick one.

I going to buy a Smith machine, to replace my old knackered home gym (to concentrate on the big excersises and all that..).

Anyway, the one I like (and is affordable) has a max wieght limit (for the bar+weights) of 310 lbs, which is 140KG ish.

Do you think that's enough to last me a few years, I weigh 60kg, and can bench about 70kg 1 rep max. I've never done squats before, hence the question.

I intend to use it for squats/bench/shrugs.

Cheers guys. river.

Re: Squat Estimate..

I would of thought that 140kg would be good enough for a good few years mate!

What sort of deal did you get on one if you don't mind me asking?

Danny
