neck training.

do any of you guys train your necks, if so how do you do it. im after some ideas on how to do it safely.

Re: neck training.

TBH you will probably find that when you are training in the gym and properly lifting e.g with dead lifts and things that when you strain with the weight that your neck muscles will get thicker then thus making you have a broader neck/color size (did with me anyways)

Re: neck training.

Most guys dont train the neck direct, only those involved in contacts sports.

Some exercises could be bridges, head harness work. OR substitute by using a towel around your head and resisting against it as you pull in the opposite direction. If that makes sense.

with MA training i add front and rear wrestlers bridge, neck harness training front and rear, shrugs etc

Yh m8 i totally agree with what bassline boy said train traps e.g shrugs and also do things like dead lifts and these sort of exercises should/will make your neck broader!
