TBH you will probably find that when you are training in the gym and properly lifting e.g with dead lifts and things that when you strain with the weight that your neck muscles will get thicker then thus making you have a broader neck/color size (did with me anyways) |

Most guys dont train the neck direct, only those involved in contacts sports. Some exercises could be bridges, head harness work. OR substitute by using a towel around your head and resisting against it as you pull in the opposite direction. If that makes sense.
