Re: Cardio / strength training with a difference

Aren't the farmers walk & such like seriously bad for your joints, particularly elbows & shoulders?

How regularly are you doing them?

Nice lil' vids anyway. Always make interesting viewing & give a few ideas.

Re: Cardio / strength training with a difference

With a farmers walk such as in OSC's vid, your elbows are fully locked out under a massive load for quite a while.

Re: Cardio / strength training with a difference

Grin & bear it.

I used to get them when I started running frequently, but they faded after a while.

Maybe take up Thai boxing? That'll stop you worrying about a shin splints!

Well I feel about 6 inches sgorter after a session if thats anything to go by...

How regularly are you doing them?

Not often enough, been troubled with injuries so have avoided such large amounts of weight beering exercises

Nice lil' vids anyway. Always make interesting viewing & give a few ideas.

Thanks you,

They are also there to show people that I do actually do what I say I can do, too many numbers quoted on internet forums and not enough actual evidence....

Hence on my board if you shout your mouth off then we politely ask for some proof....:beer1:

Can`t say I noticed my elbows, more like my shoulders & traps getting ripped off my body:crazy:

I dropped the bottles when I did in that vid simply because my right bicep had cramped up and I was scared it was going to tear at the elbow crease,

So you could say I *bottled it*

I hope that you're not insinuating that I can't do Tabata style cardio with one arm pull-ups (as I stated elsewhere). ;)
