would an all over work out be best

i want to start and lift weights again but i can only commit to 2 or 3 sessions a week max. i work full time, go to college 2 nights a week and do ma a couple of nights a week so things are pretty tight time wise.
ive not lifted weights for a couple of years but i have been pretty active doing other things. im after endurance and strength and would like to put a bit of size on to. so my question is would an all over body workout twice a week be the best way to go, what do you guys think of all over body workouts. any advice would be great.

I think whole body work outs focused on squat bench and deadlift twice per week will work very well for at least 3 months, once you plataue then you can change things up.

Full body workouts are great, especially for begginers.

As Con said concentrate on the big 3 , adding in a few other ancillary lifts only.

what about set and rep range for each exercise.

will doing those exercises hit arms and shoulders.

If i were you i would do this.
DAY 1:
Squats 4 working sets 10-15 reps(these have to be done properly unlike 99% of gym goers your **** has to touch of your calves, if you cant do it your going to heavy)
bench press 4 sets 6-10 reps
Deadlift 4 sets 6-10 reps

DAY 2:
Dips 4 sets 6-10 reps
Over head barbell press 4 sets 6-10 reps
Lying leg curl 4 sets 10-15 reps
Chin ups 4 sets 10-15 reps

Some thing like that hitting the body twice but with different exercises
