Hi.

This might sound like a stupid question, but how do you go about getting your tetoseterone levels checked, here in the UK?

Do you just go to your local GP and ask? Do you need to pay anything?

After doing some reading im worried that im displaying some classic syptoms.

You hoping for HRT on the Nhs....:crazy:

As for a blood test. Say you are worried. etc etc etc.

Be a google warrior and take loads of paperwork with you backing up your claim for low test.

Visit your doctor say you have concerns - tiredness etc etc...You will have some blood tests done. I did and I have been referred to an edocrinologist. My levels are in the acceptable range - between 10 and 40...Mine being 12?! Eek! So getting it checked out. If needs be, you will get an implant (natural test.) which is put into the abdomen and releases over a period of 6 months. If it hasn't raised enough/normalised etc...You need to keep getting the 6 month implant until it does.

Let me know how it goes...I will let you know how I get on.

When i went for a blood test a few weeks back the doctor filled in this card that looks like a lottery card he ticked the red boxes for Iron/glucose etc... he then sent me across the road to the hospital for me to give my samples i looked at the card and ticked the testosterone box so i gave 6 samples instead of the usual 5.

i just told my doctor i was on steroids and he offered all the tests to me, then again he is very understanding, my old doctor was a co*k, just kept telling me to stop roids or hed stop treating me
