Re: Mass Building

Stick with big compound movements, squats, bench, deads etc. Eat loads of good quality food and get lots of rest. That's it

Re: Mass Building

I find that only squats, deadlifts and flat bench give me the feeling of muscle breakdown/soreness the next day. All other exercises like BB rows and pull ups or isolations dont seem to do anything for me. So, will sticking to the big 3 for the next couple of months halt my progress?

You *CAN* just stick with the big three if you like provided your routine is correct. And by correct I mean not *JUST* sticking with the big three...

Confused yet? Good...

Basically you can do a very simple routine based around the Big 3, but you'll need some extra exercises in there really (Power Cleans / Mili Press / Direct Ham work etc etc)

Ask One Smart Cookie to help you when you see him

The training journals on this site are good and an eye opener.
