First leg workout in, ooooh 5 years!

Today I are be mostly training legs, for the first time in 5 years.

I know squats are the holy grail of bodybuilding, but I have always managed to find an excuse (would slow me down when i run, lose flexibility when i kickbox, causes global warming, dog ate my homework)

But today I hit the squat rack, a couple of warm up, lightish weight sets then:

Squats - 12x30/10x50/6x60/5x60 (plus the weight of the bar) - would have pushed for one more but i thought i was gonna shart!
Leg Curls - 12x20/10x25/8x30/8x35
Leg Exts - 12x40/10x45/8x50/7x55
Calf Raises - 12x50/10x50/8x60/8x60

Oh well, the first of many. Roll on the improved growth

On another note, i want to create a training log (photo's, measurements, weights etc) Which forum should i post it up in???

Cheers y'all

Cos he needs to just concentrate on squats mate. If he hasnt really worked his legs in the past he just needs to worry about packing some mass on them.

Leg extensions aint gonna do a damn thing except eat into your recovery powers that little bit more.

Cheers chaps

Will drop the leg exts and concentrate on the squats

Still aching from yesterday. Getting out of bed was a struggle. Trying to get off the bench with a dumbell in each hand nearly broke me!

Talking Re: First leg workout in, ooooh 5 years!

LOL love that boro - 3 days on and a shopping trip may as well have been to the top of the Andes.

OH well, off on holiday next week so I may try and get one more leg workout in before i go (a couple of sets of squats as warmup). Then it's serious diet and training right up to xmas.
