Difference between machines weights and dumbells and benching.

Just wanted to know, how machines and benching differ, according to our muscles and size?

Iv been using machines mainly and sometimes dumbells, before i think of benching, i just wanted to know if there are differences?

Re: Difference between machines weights and dumbells and benching.

Free weights recruit a greater range of muscle usage as the stability and core factor comes into play.

Free weights offer greater overall stimulation and subsequently better growth.

Okay, does that mean greater muscle size, as your using more muscle usage?

Free weights are also a lot more versatile also. Means you can stick however much you want on (most of the times) compared to that of a machine where you are given set weight adjustments. Some machines allow you to put free weights on tho. =o
