Deadlifts are a pulling movement.

They are not a lat exercise. They do works the lats, but they are a multi joint exercise mainly workout the hips/legs and lower back. But they pretty much work every muscle in your body to one degree or another

Deadlifts very much are a lat exersise i tore my upper lat a few weeks ago doing heavy pulls, they may not work them in the same way as chin ups but never think that you arent putting the lats under tremendus stress doing deadlifts.

Perhaps you misunderstood me bro, i wasnt implying that deadlifts dont work your lats. Of course they do, but they still aint a "lat exercise"

They are a compound multi joint exercise (i know u know that tho lol)

I'll put it on back day. Leg day you'll be doing squats, and doing squats and deadlifts on the same would kill you!
