Re: Help on Full Body Workouts?

if your going back, then your probably, over training, or not training hard enough the first time.

try putting the weight up so you actually have to work in the first 3 sets.

Re: Help on Full Body Workouts?

I would say only do two full body workouts per week, this will allow you to keep the intensity reasonably high and not overtrain. Obviously have them equidistant. Focus on compound movements (do them first and with most agression/intensity), this will stimulate the best growth.

You should also really focus on your diet (this will yield the most significant results). I know you say it's fairly healthy but that means different things to differnt people. Post up your diet.

Re: Help on Full Body Workouts?

For nwo try to aim to get protien and fibre in every meal, and avoid sugar. Also the more meals a day you can get the more chance for your body to use the nutrients.

Re: Help on Full Body Workouts?

what happens if you over train:

Your muscles dont have time to recover, thus dont grow as quickly as they can,
probably other things, but thats probably the most important one.

Re: Help on Full Body Workouts?

step back to the beginning....

you are doing full body workouts.. is that a lot of separate isolation moves or lots of compound moves?

You really need to be doing compounds.....

Re: Help on Full Body Workouts?

stop doing full body. 3 times a week is too much. Split your workout into 3 separate muscle groups which get hit once every week. Give your body time to grow..oh and keep the weights heavy.

Re: Help on Full Body Workouts?

wel basicali il use all the machines, they all do about 3 different body parts. so one of the machines does Chest/Biceps/Deltoid another does Bicep/Tricep/Deltoid and so on. then i will use some hand weights to do hammer curls/normal curls. plus a couple of other exercises.

how could i split things up? wudnt it be difficul to just do biceps and chest say when half the machines hav a range of working three muscle groups?

any help appreciated. thanks. altho i could use that machine which is like a multi purpose one, u can put handles on it and various attachments.
