Re: workout early

if you have two hours before training I would get up and have a large bowl of oats with boiling water and a whey shake.

I, and many others on here, train early. I train at 07.15'ish and get up about 6 and have the above meal every day.

This would be my choice.

Then have your creatine and amino's about 30mins pre training.

Re: workout early

Dont overcomplicate it.

The porridge(approx 100g oats)and a fruit source along with a shake 90 - 120 mins before training will suffice.

Amino's as above.

Re: workout early

I train in the morning. I get up at 7.30am and have oats with milk, a piece of fruit and a protein shake. Then I hit the gym at 9am.

Sometimes thought I find that I can't stomach a lot to eat on a morning and it makes me feel dead ill, sometimes making me wretch and throw up what I have eaten.

Re: workout early

I fnd that I can eat any sized bowl of oats in the morning. However, if you do this Welsh Ryan dont add milk. I found that adding milk left me bloated and ready to heave when training.

Not sure of your stats but I have 50g of oats in boiling water, 40g of whey (about one and a half regular scoops).

Re: workout early

well for breakfast i'll be having a drink with oats grounded basicaly becouse i dont feel like eating when i wake up never have iv got this planed for braky

in semi skimmed milk
1 cup of milk
1 piece of fruit bananas cal 92g protein 1 carb 23
1 scoop of whey protein ( or 2) 48g protein cal 240g
maybe a lil container of yogurt ( to thicken it up)
50g of oats cal 227g protein 5g carbs 33g

is a lot of cals in that meal but may drop the oats slighly to 30g or take 1 scoop of way out will take the 1 scoop of whey out i think

roughly i may try it in milk for first day as milk i havent got a prob with it drink about 4 pints a day atm have done for ages just rather milk to drinkin coke or **** all the time

this drink will be easy to get down and quick plus its got everything i need for nutrion

Re: workout early

dude, I would be spewing after that. Keep it simple, I personnaly would drop the milk and yog. What about your vits?

What are your goals.

What is your carbs/pro/fats requirement?

How many cals are you aiming for?

So you say you will be having this followed by wms, an apple and creatine? Fooking hell mate how will you train with all that in side you?

Oats and whey before training for energy and fast acting pro. Immediately after training, that is the important part - make sure you get the good food/supps in then.

Followed again an hour or two later with a good meal rich in complex carbs, protein and fats.

Re: workout early

'Welsh Ryan'; I train at 6am & I have 50-60g oats & 2 scoops of whey for my breakfast (both made with water).

Keep it simple.

Don't have WMS before weights, save that for after. Add some raisens to your oats if you want (or any type of fruit).
