Just started!

I am going to post my pics up when i can.
Im 19 and just started training at my gym.
One of the trainers asked me what i am looking for and i explained, for 1 and half months i am on this routine:
5MINS BIKE
20 MINS RUNNING
10 MINS CROSS TRAINER

15 REPS X2 30 SECOND BREAK BETWEEN EACH SET. LEVEL 8 SEATED ROW
15 REPS X2 30 SECOND BREAK BETWEEN EACH SET, 150, (its a leg machine, knees bent then you push through your heels, dnt knw what its called)

15REPS X2 30 SECOND BREAK BETWEEN EACH SET, 50, (i think its for my chest, i hold to bars and push my arms out steadily hold it then slowly back)

THE PLANK X2 60 SECONDS 30 SECOND BREAK BETWEEN EACH SET
SIDE PLANK X2 30 SECOND

CRUCHES ON A SLIGHT BUMP 15REPS X2 30 SECOND BREAK

is this okay, he did say that it will be changed in sept according to my progress?

Any help with eating?
Thanks

Re: Just started!

you didnt say what your goals are, but as you on this forum i will presume that you want to put on some mass. i may be wrong on this, and no dought if i am the flames wont be long commin, but ive always been told that if you gonna be doin weights for mass, dont do lots of cardio first as you metabolism will go up and hinder gains that session. ive always done cardio separately ie diff day or done it am and weights pm. think i can hear the flames already!!!

Re: Just started!

Welcome to the board!

The programme is ok for a total beginner, it has a push, a pull, leg exercise and some core work and cardio!

Stick with it as a foundation but as he suggested it will need a revision in Sept.

Good luck with the weight loss!

Re: Just started!

Thanks, how many times a week you rekon i should do this?
And what about breaks in between?
Lol ronaldo has very strong balance, but you cannot help falling whilst being tripped? But it can be overdone as we all know.
