![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Is this too much? Hi all! Just wondering if i'm going to burn myself out with this workout Monday - Upperbody Tuesday - Legs Wednesday - Upperbody Thursday - Legs Friday - Upperbody Saturday - Legs Sunday - Off Every day i do about 30-1hour walk in the morning before breakfast and then some cardio after my weights at the gym. I have a good diet, 6 meals a day high protein intake. I'm not going to go into exactly what workout i do, as im not 100% set on one atm i'm still trying different tactics. But i do all my upperbody on the same day and all my legs on the same day. I see alot of splits on here using Push Pull Legs etc but i'm very new to this and just think doing a general workout at first would be easier for me to follow. Any comments helpful, nothing sarcy. Love |

If your doing an upper/lower id do: mon = upper tues = lower wed = rest thurs = upper fri = lower sat = rest sun = rest Remember, less is usually more. |

Being bored shouldnt be a reason to go and over-do it. If you feel it will benefit go ahead, but unless your workouts are scaled down by quite a way to most peoples i wouldnt train that way - just my view. |

its a common belief if muscle soreness has eased, you can train that muscle group again. However, tests conducted in the states have shown that your muscles are still recovering from exercise even though DOMS has receeded. The study tracked a group of men who took part in an intense leg workout. Although the men reported no soreness after 3 days, tests showed that the muscles showed signs of damage for up to 5 days after exercise. Muscle strength was also reduced for almost one week after training. One of the most common reasons for lack of results in the gym is overtraining. If you train your muscles before they have recovered fully, they won't be able to adapt - which means little or no progress. Last edited by Conrad; 11-07-2007 at 10:05 PM. | |
