Bicep curls - 21 reps in total but split into 3 x 7 parts
1st 7 reps - perform only the lower part of the curl (thigh to waist)
2nd 7 reps - perform only the top part
3rd 7 reps -full movement

Yeah, I just searched the net actually, but got sidetracked by a phone call before I could edit my post.

Does anyone have any proof that 'fancy' exercises like this actually work?

What's wrong with sticking with deadlifts, bent over rows, squats and benchpress?

Nothing is wrong with sticking to the basic exercises,imo this is the optimum way to grow however there comes a time when the growing slows or stops and such tactics as 21's etc may prove effective in shocking the system into new growth.

I also find them useful if i want to add a more cardio based element to my session.
