Hi Waldo!

Welcome to the site, the "Getting Started" forum is a good place to start. Appears to be a great wealth of knowledge here, so am sure you'll get lots of feedback. Quite new here myself!

Perth eh? Sounds amazing - wish I was there! lol.
Must be a great place to live?

All the best with your training!

Welcome Waldo,

Interesting split you have there. Have you made progress with that?

I suspect that you may end up overtraining on that. Ideally, if going to failure, you want to be training a body part once per week.

Got your diet in check?

G'day mate.....ha ha, god i crack myself up sometimes
anyways... yeah, i think your over doing it.... your working every muscle group twice a week and as invisiblekid says "if your working to failure then you only need to hit each muscle group once a week"...(with the exception of abs)

also, its likely that your spending too long in the gym. an hour max is good enough, anymore and your more than likely wasting your time if your training is of good intensity.

For starters id dedicate a day totaly to legs coz its a big muscle group and you can easily fill up an hour with leg excersises.

id alter your routine so that it looks like this:
monday -chest and back
Wednesday- legs
Friday- arms and shoulders

tuesday, thursday and saturday mornings are for your cv and sunday is a day of rest! Horay.

abs can be done on at least 2 of your training sessions.

think that routine will help you to avoid overtraining and thus help maximise your results.
Good Luck

Re: Hey Guys ( not sure where to post this but yeh )

Thanks for the warm welcome fella's!
(actually just got back from the gym :P)
Yeah my routine is working pretty good for me at the moment only in there for 1hr - 1hr 30mins MAX so its pretty good.
An frend of mine who use to power lift back in his day gave me that routine,
Just for "bulking up" and lifting heavy.
Havnt really got a 'diet', i know i probly should but i just loose track
But i always eat reasonably good.
umm if u guys have any questions about my max lifts or anything u would like to kno, im an open book!
