back/leg split?

ive been hitting my back and legs on the same day up until now but its getting to hard with most back exercises hitting my legs and vise versa. i can only do a max 2day split but if i do back on a seperate day and i do deadlifts for example will i be risking my hamstrings? and my back when i do squats and good mornings etc?

Re: back/leg split?

Try it and see.

If necessary add extra rest days, so do each set of lifts every 10 days rather than 7.

Re: back/leg split?

If you can only train twice a week you could still have 3 different workouts but cycle through them.
Week 1: Workout 1 & 2
Week 2: Workout 3 & 1
Week 3: Workout 2 & 3

Re: back/leg split?

i train 5 times a week but my body doesnt respond to anything unless i hit the muscles every other day i. e

day1 legs, back
day2 chest, shoulders
day3 legs, back
day4 chest, shoulder
day5 legs, back

ive tried knocking the days down but even with training to failure i wouldnt get the same results as with a higher intensity 2 day split
