Hey guys.......

been trying to diet for the past month and steped on the scales at 13.5 stone! 4 weeks ago!

i feel my diet has been good and my training is heavy weights 4 times a week with 20mins boxing 4 times a week!

after a month of this ive stepped on the scales to find i am now 14 stone exact!!!

my diet is.....

8.30 - 4 eggs 3 whites, small bowl of oats

10.30 - tin of mackeral and 1 apple

12.30 - chicken salad sandwich on wholemeal

3.30 - (pre workout) 20g whey, 3g CEE, 3g AEE, 5, GEE and 1 banana, protein flapjack

5.15 - workout for 1 hour

6.15 - 40g whey, 1 large banana, 3g CEE, 3g AEE, 10g GEE

8.00 - chicken breast and 1 bag of mixed veg

10.30 - 20g whey and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter!

normally have a carb up day on saturday!! and keep the rest of the days very low carb!

i haven't noticed in the mirror any addition fat....nor any added muscle size........im supposed to be losing weight not gaining LOL

what do you think gone wrong

Re: a bit confused???

Sounds like you need to increase the amount you're eating, Adam. How intensely do you train? That said, six weeks is not a huge amount of time see results in, so maybe you just need to be patient for a little longer.

Re: a bit confused???

Shorty, I could be wrong, but I think Ziricote suspects a water retention issue.
Half a stone in a month is a lot with a lean diet - holding water could be a suspect.

Also - I was told not to mix CEE with OJ - apparently the acid is harmful to the CEE. Try black current instead.

Re: a bit confused???

Thanks for that mate.......water retention....seems alot.... like you say........CEE is taken sometimes with fresh OJ and sometimes concentrate OJ....or vimto...whatever's going...once had to down it in just water.........:tape2:...nearly spewed!

Re: a bit confused???

CEE is horrid stuff for sure but goes down nicely with some fruit juice, I do suspect it's just water retention like invisiblekid said. You would have to know what measurements you had before and after but that is what I suspect is the reason for the weight gain, you should lose most of it after you discontinue use.

Re: a bit confused???

Ive now got the CEE capsules now. Shorty, have you noticed the difference using GEE instead of just plain L-glutamine?

Re: a bit confused???

hey ollie...in all fairness mate ive never used a glutamine supp apart from whats been added in the whey....but with the GEE if noticed my recovery is alot quicker....plus only been using it for 3 weeks but will keep it as a staple supp along with the CEE as i feel the best is yet to come!

Also not sure about the Arginine EE.... but have noticed when i work out that my skin feels tighter around the muscles ive trained but no major improvements in vascularity....

i'll give it time tho!!!

Re: a bit confused???

Fair enough shorty. Im using CEE and AAKG and the regular glutamine and they serve me well. Might make a purchase of GEE instead and see what the pros and cons are.
