Any comments on how i am progressing?

Just wanting to check my progress to see if I am doing ok with my training.

The measurements in red were taken at the beginning of december & the ones in black were taken a minute ago. So about 4 months & 20 days ago

Weight seems to have gone up quite alot & it was on the same scales & I definately took the right reading.

height - about 6' 1"

weight - 60kg ---------- 67kg

neck - 34cm ----------- 36cm

chest - 89cm ---------- 93cm

waist - 75cm ---------- 80cm

bi-ceps - 25cm -------- 29.25cm

quads - 48cm --------- 52cm

calves - 36cm --------- 36.5cm

Im not sure whats gone on with the calves though.

What do you think of how I have progressed with the rest of my body though?

I am seeing definate changes in it, especially on my chest & triceps.

Also I have noticed an increase in my strenght as well. Especially on the shoulder press.

So am I doing ok or should I have progressed more?

The equiptment i was using was pretty crap until the last month because I have joined the gym. Only done 2 weeks there but was away for 2 as well inbetween the weeks. I have put on 4lbs though during this time.

Please comment & say if I have missed anything out.

cheers
James

I have never known what to do about body fat mate.

There is those things what you put your thumb on buthow can that calculate how much your body fat is?

There is also the one where you go underwater or something but i dont think we have anything like that near us.

What is the best way to measure it?

cheers

judging from your avatar you don't need to worry about BF mate, nice progression too.

Thanks mate.

I have always had abs as far as I can remember so I guess your right in saying I dont need to worry about bf.

I thought that I had been doing well but when I saw that I had gone up 7kg I thought something was wrong. But when I thought about it more it doesnt seem anywhere near as much as I first thought it was.

When I first put up some pictures people said I need to work on my triceps & I feel that they are coming along well now & can notice them standing out more.

Also I have noticed quite a decent increase in my strength.

I have put a good 15kg onto my bench press in 4 months & can now curl over 20kg on an EZ bar where as I could only do about 15kg.

I did do 28kg shoulder press on my multi gym but this much have been mainly my right arm doing most os the work because since I have been doing freeweight shoulder press with dumbells I had to start on 5kg ones because my left arm couldn't do the 7.5kg ones at all. But after 4 sessions with the free weights & starting to take more protine as well I have raised this up to be able to do 10kg dumbels in each hand quite comefortable.

So over all Im very happy with my progress
