Having said that you want to know how to best train your grip... While I was training grip strength (don't at the moment - too many other bits to do), I did 3 sets of 8 crushes per hand per orientation (normaly or upside down). the trick (as always) is to put as much intensity into it as possible. The other nice way to train grip strength is with a powerball. Or - just pick up heavy dumbells and hold them for 2 mins static.

Static holds Thick bar lifting Chins with towel wrapped around bar Very heavy single hand lifts (suitcase lift, bar deadlifts etc) Tons of ways to train grip just make sure to treat it like any other bodypart as 9 times out of 10 thats why people fail to lift what they should as grip is weak link... |
