Thumbs up train for gains

Im not so sure that i have a right to write this as i have only been training seriously since the start of the year and am new to the board but i just wonted to put a point accross to people who are new to training REALY NEW just starting or thinking about training or even training wiht no gains.
when i fiarst started playing with weights i was about 16 not that long ago really because im only 20 now but i, just like most people who start out (and most of my friends who dont train) thought it was just a case of lifting a few weights up and down loads and loads and wala!! instant muscle as if. its laughable such a stupid mistake but its just as laughable to train with the right weights in the right gym and still and still make little or no real gains. when i first started all i ever read was diet and rest and i did the same things im sure most new people my age think ill just skip them bits bad idea, you just skip them bits and your muscle just skips your time in the gym simple as that.
I have made some of the best gains from reading on this board, sorting my diet my training and rest. Weight training is so complex, if you wanna play with weights with out doing the rest you might get gains noticeable ones too "i did" ( for a bit ) but if you play it smart do it right you will get twice the gains twice as quick and if you dont you will know why. the most important thing that i have lernt so far is that you need the knowlage of training to train , I meen you carnt just drive a car rite? you got to learn first take lessons etc. so if you wanna train learn how to train first im not saying you need to know everythind but a little goes along way. reap the benefits of a years and years of firsthand knowlage on this board from people who know, ask questions about anything you like dont do what i did , dont traing for abit get fedup and think???? oh yer steroids, man i dont even know about steroids I still thought about taking them though stupid but true and not uncommon. train smart i know i am.
