just wondering ?

hey guys

I just wonted to get a few ideas from you as to my arms i just read that panthro doesnt really do any dirrect training for his bis and because im strugling to put any real size on my arms due to laying bricks/ blocks every day at work i wondered if it might be a good idea to ease off on the arms for a bit and see what happens. insanity did advise me to train them on a friday so that they would have the weekend to rest which is what i was doing but on friday my arms were so knackered from work that any time spent on them would have been overtraining which is the problem . This is something that is really anoying me as my arms are lagging behind .Its also anoying because i know of builders that never really go to the gym and have massive arms. what do i do ????

but basically lay off and the indirect training they'll get from back and chest should be enough!

Man, that is a tough one. You must be young huh? Just saw the profile 21. HMMmm
Your body will eventually get used to it or you will just get an injury and not be able to do it anymore.
The body should adapt to the load that is being put on it. Certain muscle fibers adapt diffrently. The forearms will grow in this case and the biceps and triceps wont. Probably due to all the pulling of the blocks you might not get to do biceps. Triceps on the other hand I would work. I dont see them getting the pounding as the biceps. I would leave out biceps and just hit the triceps. Remember triceps are 2/3 the total size of the arm.
I see builders that get massive arms but they are older. Isnt that what you notice too?

yer hackskii older builders do have big arms most of the time my dad who is also a builder has big arms and hes 44 bit he also has a big belly to and i dont lol, but yer i think it is true what you are saying. Ill take the advice of panthro and yourself and ease off the arms/ biceps its just hard to go easy on the muscles that you wont to grow the most not that im transfixed on my amrs i work my whole body but the arms just dont look as impressive as the rest but they are very tonned even though when i was training them i would do low reps with big weight for size,so this also to me indicates overtraining , anyway problem sorted ill let you know how it goes

I would say overtraining here is a real danger... either just let the indirect work do its stuff or train them one ex one set or something similar...
