MMA training routine

I'm starting training next week and I need a full weight training routine adjusted for the following mma training time table: http://www.karltanswell.co.uk/classes.html.

Nytol has been giving me some good advice and says my weight training should include plyometrics. I just need a routine that will be suitable for my mma needs, strength and power. Ninepack and Nytol could you help me out by giving me a set routine please? I'm guesing I'll have to be training in the mornings due to the mma training.

I think your training should also focus on speed of movement.

Wouldn't your best bet be to ask the coach at the MMA school? He should know best I would think.

But, if you had a fist hit you at 100 miles an hour vs 50 miles an hour there is still more power with speed.

But yes I do agree with you, it is a bit more difficult than that, ballance comes to mind here.

OK but if a fist with 100 knockout-a-tons of strength hit you at 50mph that would be the same as a fist with 50 knockout-a-tons hitting you at 100mph.

come on get in the octagon with your pink gloves and slap and scratch your differences out!

MMA training i honestly have no idea..

however i would do a routine based around compounds and core work with plenty of stretching and speed exercises.. lots of circuit training for cardio
