TRAINING ADVICE

Hi all

Im trying to bulk and could do with some training advice. At the moment i train as follows:

Mon. Chest/ bisceps
Tues: shoulders
Wed: rest day/ 1/2hour abs
Thurs: back/triceps
Fri: Legs
Sat/Sun: Rest day

Normally do 4/5 exercises per body part doing 4 sets per exercise @ 8-10 reps.
Does this look ok or do i need to swap anythings round?
Also how should my diet change on rest days?

Re: TRAINING ADVICE

personally - i would not do shoulders on the day after chest as the parts are too close. Also, I would do biceps after back and tri's after shoulders, only my opinion though!

Re: TRAINING ADVICE

I agree with leeston over not doing shoulders straight after chest.
But i do my biceps with my chest and find it works better, when you do them with back you are part using them on your back so cant use them to their full potential - just my opinion.

My split used to be:
Mon - Chest and tris
Tues - Back and bis
WED - OFF
Thurs - Shoulders and traps
Fri - Legs

Now its:
Mon - Chest and bis
Tues - Legs
Wed - Shoulders and traps
THURS- OFF
Fri - Back and tris

I feel less achey and tired with this split

Re: TRAINING ADVICE

Is your routine currently working for you?

Eat the same on off days. The point of an off day is to recover. Your body needs the fuel to recover.
