Max bulk with 50kg weights *EDIT*.... now got 100kg of weight

Hi all.

Just setting up my own gym equipment at home.

Got a bench, bar-bell and dumb-bells....and 50kg of plates.

I was training 4 or 5 nights a week for about 8mths...but stopped in sept due to moving house, starting another job etc etc.

I want to put on as much mass as possible, can anyone suggest how i can do this with the limited equipment i currently have?

Cheers

*EDIT*.... now got 100kg of weight...and i've also been bitten by the bug too!!

Any more thoughts/tips??

Re: Max bulk with 50kg weights...

Firstly, buy some more plates.

Then bench press, deadlift and squat. Use the heavy dumbells to squat with if you can't safely get the bar on your back - which without a squat rack is near impossible.

You could also add in standing shoulder press and rows. If you don't already know the exercises above are called compound exercises and will yield the best results for mass.

These combined into a decent program will give you results.

Definantly buy some more plates to start!, Or if not just use the weight on db's. Although with only 50kg, i think you will still be yearning for more pretty soon!

Re: Max bulk with 50kg weights...

It's going to have to be the compound movements (which are the best anyway).

As 'Invisible Kid' said, a squat rack will need to be purchased for your safety unless you have a decent spotter.
