Seen bigger legs hanging out of a nest!

Right guys im in need of serious help! My legs are shameful, they started getting bigger 2 years ago before i did my back in, but now 3 months back into training and there scrawny ,ive only trained them a handfull of times 2, cant do heavy squats as train at home in my garage and dont have a squat rack and 2nd my lower spine kills to much, im going to see a chiropractor at the mo, to get movement back into the lower vertibra (soz cant spell), its better but going to take alittle longer to get back to 100% Can you guys think of a good wy to shock my little pins into growing without overloading them with back breaking weight? Oh and dont get me started on my calfs.

Re: Seen bigger legs hanging out of a nest!

TBH mate you need to use heavy weights really.
Firstly, heavy squats are a great exercise to get them shocked and growing, the lower back pain could be because of form? Make sure the back stays straight, chest out and on the way up dont lean forward - dig your heels in and straight up you go!

Your kind of limited to what you can do working out in your garage so bump for more experienced advice..

* standing one legged calf raises will sort the calfs though

I would definantly get that back sorted first, you really dont want trouble in that area. Apart from heavy lifting i always find that cycling helps my legs, especially high geared uphill rides.

Re: Seen bigger legs hanging out of a nest!

My legs & back are my biggest bodyparts. With my legs, I'm genetically gifted as my dad has big legs.

However; front squats & lunges are the daddy. Aint a better feeling (or ill feeling) than lunging in my opinion.

I find 12-15 reps really works my muscles as opposed to heavy weight.
