Re: ive been reading up

10 pounds in 5 weeks??? That's brilliant......if it's muscle you have gained.

Me thinks this will be 10 pounds of water/fat.

Re: ive been reading up

If you are gaining more than 1lb per week and you are natural it is almost certainly water and/or fat.

Hehe, don't make the mistake that many beginners do, of completely overeating. Eating every two hours is really for propper bodybuilders who are in the 17 stone + region.

Things happen very slowly in bodybuilding (unless you are mega lucky or juice up) so in your case just make sure you get the good 3 squares in each day. If you feel hungry between have a light snack (if it's schooltime take a protien bar perhaps). Just make sure that what you do eat is of high qality (not a shop bought sarnie/crisps/coke that is the opposite). Drink water regularly too.

Just don't do what I did and eat like a 17stone guy when you are 11 stone - YOU GET FAT

Re: ive been reading up

It takes 3-4 hours for protein to leave your stomach so there is no need to eat every 2 hours unless you are eating carbs only.

In your case as Mega said 3 square meals a day, but i would add 2 healthy snacks in between also. There are many recipe ideas for snacks in the recipe section.

Re: ive been reading up

yea i think your right i think it is a water weight. cuz like ill weigh myself one day and it could be 142lbs then iill weigh myself the next day and it will be like 139. but i went from like 129 um to 138 to 142 and its staying up there. but yea so i should just go for the three big meals a day with a small snack if i get hungery. well thats sounds better to me then trying to take down a bunch of food before or right after schoo. thanx everyone that was awsome help. now i know more.
