Pains in my arm.

Hey,

I dunno if anyone has experienced a similar thing before, but basically when I work out on my back and shoulders, I find that the are around my forearm and wrist really aches and I have to have a break for a bit before I continue with working out, what I noticed yesterday was when I was doing lateral raises my hands really ached, and after I had keep clenching them and then stretching them to try and get them to relax. What can I do to get rid of this? I've never experienced this before and I think it could be because I am training a bit differently - I am trying to go slower when I do rep's as that was some advice I was given, maybe I need to reduce the weight some more or something.

Thanks for any input.

Not sure - but it might be cramp/build up of lactic acid in your forearms. Stretch them after each set. Do you train your grip and forearms? Might just be your grip/forearms are failing.

Not sure where you stand on straps - but maybe try them and see if you have the same issue. Grip training would be a better option though if you are failing.

I don't train my grip(!), I don't think I do anyway. I assume my forearms get trained when I do chin up's and a few other exercises.

Is there anything I should be eating to get rid of lactic acid build up? I do stretching inbetween sets, maybe I'm not doing properly.....

Cheerz
