![]() ![]() | Pre-Race Meal I have my first mountain bike freeride race at the weekend and I am wondering what I should be eating the day or a few days before the race??? I have been training like a mad man and dont want any stone left unturned in my prep for the race... Any advice would be great Thanks |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | good man, another cyclist! don't carb up too much... i over did it in my first few races and it didn't help at all, don't change too much in the diet, imo keep with the carbs you have been eating (you may bloat quite a bit if you suddenly start eating white rice if you have been using a lot of oats)... i go just below double my carbs the day before and keep breakfast the same as always on the day...
