![]() | Bulking/Cutting Cycles When bulking and cutting, what determines then length of your cycle? Do you set it by goal (i.e weight/BF ) or by time (i.e 10 week / 2 months)? I'd have thought it made sense to do it by goal. What would people here see as a resonable target for someone bulking (without gear) before going back to a maintenance diet or cutting? And how long would you see the bulk running for? I know its very difficult to say, but I'm looking for generalisations if thats at all possible. |

Well, I can answer the cutting one. I had a target weight in my mind on what weight I wanted to get down to, once I hit that I went to maintenance. As far as bulking, I gain weight way to easy, if I am a higher % of bodyfat then I tend to gain a little muscle and the rest fat. When I am leaner and bulk I think the weight is cleaner with less fat. Shoot for something like a half pound a week and eat clean. This would be responsible eating.
