![]() ![]() | *Fat over muscle weight gain issue* Hello to all looking in, Great site being my first post I have posted here as not sure the best place for it. Let me give you some basic info of myself to give you an idea where I'm at. I was and naturally a skinny person and got into training about 18 months ago starting really with basic fitness and light weights.....this then progressed to attempts to build myself up. Being a complete beginner I learned all the hard lessons we seem to have to do to learn, or at least I did, the overtraining, bad diet, and worse still bad advice. As we know this all equals no improvement. (Glad I'm past those dark days.......training everyday and working harder for nothing!) My view of this and I tell people 80% is education and understanding what your doing, and why your doing it, the actually training is the easy bit if you get my meaning. Slowly I learned the importance of diet and became more educated and disciplined in my training. However things only really happened when I was introduced to anabol steriods which made a fantastic difference. I packed on 1 and a half stone in a matter of two months, changed my life and gave me confidence have never looked back. I don't condone the use of drugs in any way and this is just my story, but in my personal case it helped get me where I needed to be. I have also learned to maintain the weight off the gear give or take a few pounds. Right don't get me wrong here I no big bodybuilder like some of the guys here and clearly not on the level of the people who know....but I do feel happy with the improvements I've made. Now sorry if i have bored you if I my ask the experts my questions please, As I have said I am using diabo I have two types, (tablets) star shaped design one's from Thailand I'm told which I prefer and at present I'm using pink round tabs....They work but I'm not over keen on them and prefer the starshaped ones. I am taking 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening is that OK? I know it works but is this safe staying on them for about 6 weeks and then a couple of months off......is this ok? Now my weight gain is great packing on the muscle lifting heavy weight all good, my problem and my main issue is this.................I'm just over 12 stone and I seem to pick up the fat now at a price of any muscle gain. Now what the best way to approach this will be coming off the gear in two weeks Don't want to lose too much muscle weight etc.....but need to trim the fat off the belly too. I know I need to do cardio work and have no probs there, how much should I do in relation to making sure I still lift heavy don't want to lose my hard gained muscle....'' I have been lazy on this problem and have allowed myself to take the extra weight in body mass fat really for the sake of extra muscle taking me over the 12 stone mark which if I'm honest is probably more fat than real muscle. If I can get this right and lose the belly which ain't that bad I wil be well chuffed and this is now going to be my main focus. Any help or advice given would be greatly appreciated, Billy |

![]() ![]() | OK, Many thanks for taking the time to look in and reply, I know its all in my diet where I'm going wrong so go easy on me now, In the morning I have a fry up....'' a few hours later for lunch I will have a sandwich white bread and chicken or ham slices, sometimes this would be cheese and tomato. I would then have a banana a couple of hours later with a yogart....'' For dinner I would have chicken with potatoes veg etc sometimes this would be meat. late evening another sandwich fish fingers (processed crap I know) Before I go to bed I will have two scoops of my protein drink with milk. I train twice a week on each part for example, I'm doing chest and shoulders back (My shoulders are difficult to grow).....I day rest then I would do Legs and arms......'' One day rest and then back to the beginning...'' I only do 10 mins cardio as a warm up before I do the above on my training days. So I'm not doing any proper serious cardio fat burning at all. Lots of room for improvement I'm sure as I said go easy on me! cheers Billy |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Fry Up for breakfast - switch to Oats + Eggs or Protein Shake White Bread with chicken or ham slices - switch to brown bread or better still brown rice with real chicken breast and veg (make it the night before) Dinner - potatoes - switch to sweet potatos, brown rice, wholemeal pasta etc... Fish fingers - why not tuna or oily fish if you want to stay on the fish. Do cardio early mornings on an empty stomach to get rid of the fat. Those are just some suggestions - I'm sure you know where you are going wrong - its having the will and the desire to do something about it. If you are doing roids then its pretty silly not to even have a decent diet - Just my opinion.

![]() ![]() | Do you know I have switched the fry up to Ready Brek, can't do the oaks porridge that taste's horrible so the ready brek is still big improvement on the Fry up! Have cut out the processed beef burgers processed fish fingers, stopping white bread is hard, doing brown bread to be honest will have to mix this up with the white a bit until I get used to it, trying to cut out sugar in my tea which I love included tuna in the evening diet with my protein shake! Have made the effort to buy fresh chicken breast fillets and beef which I now take the time to cook myself. Also got some mixed nuts with rasins for the evening and do you know I have already lost the bloated belly, I really think I'm gonna crack it this time, I feel close give me three weeks reakon I will be seeing the signs of a 6 pack somewhere hiding under there..... :p |
