Advice on Routine...

Hi I've got myself into the mindframe and training hard these holidays, beginning of this week I started the gym this is how I'm training plz advice:

Sunday: Chest (bench, pec-deck and vertical machine)
Tuesday: Biceps & Triceps
Thursday: Back & Shoulders
Friday: Abs

On all 4 days I do 20 minutes on the cross-trainer and 20 minutes jogging as I have a lot of fat to shift, all comments welcome this is just a routine I've made up so plz advice

as above were's the leg routine? you need to work all body parts!

if you need a leg routine ask and i'm certain you will get one from atleast one person on this site! (probably get quite a few)

Oh yeah I forgot I do legs on Friday with abs, all I use though is the machine, do you think I'm overworking/underworking or is the rest of the routine ok, also for maximum fat burning is the 20 minutes on cross trainer and treadmill ok?

Do your cardio after your weights - thats what I'd suggest, if you aren't already. 40 mins of cardio sounds like a good amount to me.

I'd probably lose the Pec-Dec and do either flies or cable cross overs. Not sure what you mean by Vertical machine for chest. Which exercise do you do on it?

It's just the machine where you sit in an upright position and push out, thanks for all the advice so far, one last question; is it alright to work on my abs every 2 days or is that too much?

kurgan will become famous soon enough
i tend to do my abs every other session, loads of sit ups at warm up at kickboxing and abs trainer at gym. i usually do 4-5 sets of 40-50. Really depends what your looking for - general fitness or ripped 6 pack.
