You are? I thought you could eat something BEFORE your workout, say at 1.15pm, train, and then have a shake at 2pm!!

Hacks, can we have a ruling on this, mate??

I am not sure but now from what I hear eating about 40-90 minutes before might be the best approach.

I know I always hear about PWO shakes but I am hearing more now that it is pre-workout shakes are the way to go.
I eat at 9:30 and train at 11:00.
I hate to be full when working out.
I do have a shake right after my workout but I dont notice any diffrence whole foods over shakes at all.

I've always been told get some carbs in you before training (weights - not cardio) then some protein and some high GI carbs straight after

Well, lets just look at this for a moment.
In the presence of insulin GH is supressed and fat burning stops dead.
If you are doing cardio then would supressing fat burning be the best idea?
Or stopping release of GH while you were doing some HIIT cardio?

After all the whole purpose of cardio is to burn fat not just calories.
It is to target fat loss so to speak and any environment that accellerates this is a good environment.
Id say take something that mobolizes lipids and that would be eph, yohimbe, clen, caffeene, etc.
