PeteUK is on a distinguished road
Smile Back to training after 18 months out.

Hi Guys , apologies if this thread is posted in the wrong forum (im new here)

I'm looking for some advice as I have been away from training regularly (e.g 10 times a week for some 10 years to very little training and poor eating for the past 18 months (had a number of injuries)

Im looking at starting again full time from this week to gain some weight loss and muscle tone for my holiday in 2 weeks and would be very grateful for any advice on the best system to follow for initially loosing fluid retention and toning up my stomach areas with a 2 week deadline. My training is to continue while on holiday (c.v work ) and then hopefully I will be able to increase my level of intensity over a period of time again.

I basically want to try to gain as much 'leaness' within this 2 weeks as possible but im a little lost as to the best process to achieve this.
Would it just be a case of e.g 2 x 1 hours cv a day and would Bike riding be the best option considering I have just got over another serious knee injury (again! :()

And would Sauna's be a good addition to the training schedule ?

Many Thanks for advice on this subject.

Pete

welcome mate

You could do 2 cardio sessions per day. 1 first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, the other of an evening with some weights.

other thing you need to re think would be your diet, as if this is no good youll be basically wasting your time.

what is your current diet like?
