sorry for the long delay in getting back basically I'm training legs two times a week, my back isn't the strongest so I do seated leg press's 100kg 1 set 10, 150kg 2 sets 4-5, then leg extension 91kg 1 set 10, 110kg 6-8, 120kg 5-6, Calf raises 3 x 10 160kg, then I finish on some more seated press's till my legs can't carry me anymore. After this I'm walking like John Wayne, I don't know what else to do ??? |

Squats - 2 working sets x 10 (do a couple of warm ups too) SLDLs - 2 working sets x 10 (as above) Calf Raises - 3 x 15 Try increasing the weight every week - the first couple of weeks should therefore be quite easy - as soon as 2 sets become too much drop it to 1 working set but still increase the weight... you legs will grow... esp. if you havn't squated before! Oh, and do the above only once a week - i am 110% sure you will be overtraining | |

![]() | Legs I have been splitting my legs fronts and backs, which I have found has done wonders for my quads (hams were always strong). Last night I was chatting with figure pro who gave me this training split for legs: I did that for six months, legs heavy mon fri, light wed, ham/calves tues thurs! was very hard but got into it And her pic, the very lovely Carmen Knight at her last comp! |
