Arms

Apart from the usual dumbell curls etc, what exercises can I go just for my arms?

I'm going this afternoon, but cant really do legs, chest or back cos i did them yesterday and tuesday. So just going to concentrate on arms and abs...

But if you trained chest and back surely your arms got hammered anyway.

Did you do any deadlifts for your back? If not maybe try some clean and presses.

i'm guessing your mean biceps?

IMO straight bar curls or E-Z bar curls are the way to go...

1 warm up sets then 2 working sets with the same weight for say 8 reps...

if you can curl 40kg for 2x8 then 1/2 months later be able to curl 50kg for 2x8 by means of progressive load training your biceps will be bigger

I train my whole arm all in one session. A friend gave me his "Armageddon" routine and it has impressed me to say the least. Here it part of this routine:

Triceps - Lying triceps extensions
* 2 sets x 20
3 sets x 12, 10, 8

Biceps - BB curls
* 1 set x 20
3 sets x 10, 8, 6

Triceps - Press downs
3 sets x 12, 10, 8

Biceps - DB concentration curls
3 sets x 10, 8, 6

Triceps - Overhead BB extensions
3 sets x 12, 10, 8

Brachialis - Hammer curls
3 sets x 12, 10, 8

Forearms - Wrist curls
3 sets x 12
* Superset with ….
Reverse wrist curls
3 sets x 12

Best wishes my friend
.

I would give them arms a break today bud.
Biceps got hit on back day
Triceps got hit on chest day

I am not a big believer in doing legs, chest and back togeher in any of those combos.
I do legs by themselves, they hammer me, especially with any intensity using squats.
