| straight talker | i got told by a powerlifter-and i base this on what he said not personal experience-that you should eat a small tin of rice pudding two hours before you hit the weights. me myself i have something like jacket spud and a chicken breast about 2 1/2 hours before training. i find that if i have creatine with any sort of transport(i.e dextrose)then i will have a real sh1t training session. same goes if i eat before hitting the gym. probably something to do with blood sugar levels fluctuating

| UK-M Swimsuit model | I depends on when you train mate, I train around 7ish in the evening so I have a meal at 4ish and a MRP at about 6ish. I'd say no sooner than 45 min before you train. As for what you should eat I'd say the same as you should always eat - Protein/Carbs/Fat/Veg have you posted your diet in the diet section yet? You may be better to look at your daily routine rather than just before you train as your body needs a steady flow of food all day. Post it up mate and i'm sure ppl will point you in the right direction. Good luck ![]()
